Vietnam photos uploaded
Hi all, this is the link to 25% of my vietnam photos:
http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/sin_sin_83/vietnam%2006/?start=20
Why only 25%? That's because we have more than 4 cameras over there and I only have time to upload mine. So enjoy if you want to. No comments on those photos though, so you might be confused as to where the photo is taken and what it means. Sorry, really no time.
New year is coming.. I am gg to change my blog's design soon.. hope it will not take too much time..
Ok, happy new year and see ya soon.

Vietnam Trip - Sapa
After staying Hanoi for one night, we went to Sapa by taking a 12 hours overnight train. Long ride man... we took the 4 sleepers compartment. 4 of us having one cubicle and 4 beds. The weather in Sapa is very cold, you can see smoke when you speak. Nice exp though.
The wet market in Sapa...
The church... the weather was so cold and misty that this church disappears from the view after some time..
This is the train compartment I was talking abt earlier on...
ZY with the local kids...
The road side stalls...
3 of us enjoying the weather...
david and our hotel staff in Sapa..
Me when the weather is slightly better...
Taken from top of the hill... when the weather is bad, you can see almost nothing..
All in all, Sapa is a nice place to visit, but only if the weather is good. We were there when the mist starts forming, damping our moods as most scenery were hidden..
Next, we travel back to Hanoi and that's the start of our journey down south...

Vietnam trip - Hanoi
Just got back from Vietnam yesterday. Spent 2 weeks over there. I would say that the trip is a good experience for me. However, 2 weeks seem a bit too long and during the last few days, some of us were already falling ill and getting sick of the food over there. I missed SG food! The first thing i did was to eat the ba Cho Mee when i reached SG.
I will try to upload some of the pictures I took over there. There are simply too many photos already. So just enjoy the pictures... sorry I dun really have a lot of viet babes pics... just a few, so stay tune!!!
The plan for our trip is to fly from Sg to Hanoi. We stayed there for a night before we take an overnight train to Sapa the next day. Sapa is a cold and nice place. I still prefer Pai of Thailand though. Anyway, I will talk about Sapa in the next entry. After Sapa, we came back to Hanoi and from there travel south: Hue, Hoi An, Da Lat, HCM. We flew back from HCM to Sg on the 23. Total no of days spent there is 15. Amount of SGD I spent including air tickets, shopping, transport... is about $800. That is quite a budget trip I must say.
Before we set off at the airport... Me and Zhiyang.
Clement, David and Zy.
Our first meal over there.. the food is good.. not too ex. A meal per person is about 3 SGD including drink.
We went to this place call "half man half noodle" to chill out. Or was it "half noodle half man"? Nvm, not impt. The beer is cheap... about 1 SGD per bottle.
A lake in Hanoi city.. quite cold over there.. 24 deg?
The night market in Hanoi...
Hanoi is still not as develop as HCM. The traffic there is terrible. Ppl just horn to over take. And the majority of the ppl there ride on motor bikes. So when U cross the road, just walk straight and the motor bikes will siam u automatically... we learned that after one day of practice..
All right, next entry I will talk more on Sapa. And more photos....

Here are some of the photos from SSMC.. look at my shag face..
Some of my friends have decided to run the next year's marathon after seeing me wearing the finisher T shirt. Well, it is definitely an accomplishment to run 42.195Km. I have done 3 marathons already. It is tiring, but the sense of finishing it is worth every bit of pain you endured during the 5 to 6 hr run.
If exam dates permit, I will definitely run again the next year and better my timing. What are you waiting for? Come join me..
What have I been doing these few days after my exam?
Ran a marathon, finish Prison Break season 1 in 4 days, played overnight mahjong, organise the bdae celebration of andy and julius (today is the day), prepare for my Vietnam trip (Friday afternoon)...
Yes, I will be leaving for Vietnam for 2 weeks. Back only on the 23 Dec. Will post lots of photos when I am back. It is going to be an exciting trip, provided that typhoon durian can find its way to the sea..
Lots of things to do when I return... but I have only less than 2 weeks to school reopen. And the whole damn shit will start all over again.. haha..
Hopefully the results will be good, that's all I want for xmas..
