Now I am really pissed.. type something quite long and I dunnoe how and where it went to. F*** up. Pissed. Sorry just let me do some summary ba. I am very sian of typing it again.
I complained about not able to get into temasek hall, and that maybe I will try the next sem.
I said about my projects starting to get busy and that I need to do a lot of research now and then.
I complained about singaporeans not giving way to alighting passengers and keeping left when using the escalator.
I complained that my life is boring and something interesting and exciting pls happen now(that was just now). And it really did!!! That bloody page just vanishes and boom.. all that I typed disappear.
Now how interesting and exciting that can be.
I better save this as a draft first.
Damn...

Corporate Lesson
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower. When the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs.
When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbour. Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800 to drop that towel."
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves.
The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, "Who was that?" "It was Bob the next door neighbour," she replies. "Great!" the husband says, "did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?"
Moral of the story : If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

I am getting lazy to blog... so I will just try to do some weekly updates.
Hmm.. what actually happened for the past week?
I remembered we went to celebrate Trixie's bdae last thurs. Was quite fun, and we manage to find a place that sells a jug of beer for $13!!! Cine preview lounge!! Can read more on trixie's blog. It's her bdae after all.
Well, I went for the badminton crash course on sat. I was the main conducting "officer" that day. The response was great and we made some money for our badminton fund. Haha, I think I did an ok job that day. Really a good way to earn money, maybe they should organise more of these crash courses in the future.
Today, I had dinner with td and andy at holland v. Chill out after dinner and had some guys talk. I am so tired now that I can't do my work. Rather, I don't have the mood. Haha, so I think blogging is a better way to spend my time. Dun really have to think, just type whatever that comes into my mind.
Ok, I think I am getting old. My back aches, and I dunnoe how I hurt myself. Gym? Badminton? Luckily my dad offered to help me rub my back with some medical oil. I feel better now. Haiz, my body seems to be showing its weaknesses nowadays. My right ankle hurts at times too. Think I have to relax a bit in my training.
Projects coming up. Time to do some real work.
I must enjoy this sem.. I mean it must be a fulfilling one.. will update when I have fun stuffs to share..

First day of school..
Today is my official "first day" in school because Monday is my free day. Well, Wednesday is my free day too. People don't be jealous, it is only temporary. When my 2001 project starts, I will be going school almost everyday.
Formed my SS group today, with td and 3 other girls. That's the difference between business module and engin module. Engin module is 3 guys and 1 gal, and the gal might not even be local (you know what I mean). Haha.. most of the time there isn't even a need to form any group. Anyway, the teaching was fun, 3 hours with a break in between, and you just sit down there listening. Of course I need to speak up at times. If not how do I get my participation marks!
After the lesson, I went to td's hall to have dinner with him and drank a bit. Taught him a few card tricks which I learnt from a book. That would make sure he have something to show the gals in his hall..
Hope this sem will be fun..

National Day Outing
Yesterday was national day. Happy 41st birthday Singapore. Sorry I was not able to make it for the NDP nor view it at home. That's because I was out with my secondary school friends!!! Now you must be wondering what's all these photos about and the face paints that we had.
It was dinner at fish and Co at the glass house. They were having this face paint thingy for free for all customers. I was the first one to volunteer myself. Jm was the one who suggested the moustache. Cool sia..

Jm was next after losing 3 rounds in a row the "spin the bottle" game on my handphone. She didn't want to in the first place.. Cheater!! Hahaha but she gave in in the end. Take a look at her photo!
Trixie was late for the dinner, but she joined in the fun too. The rest of the guys should be ashamed of themselves because only the 3 of us did the face paint.
Next, we went to the mind cafe at Prinsep Street.
http://www.themindcafe.com.sg/location.php
Take a look at their website.

The board games were quite fun. Played a few of them and got quite excited at times. Not a bad place to hang out and play games. We stayed there for 2 hours and you will wonder why time passes by so quickly.
Next the interesting thing happened. We were on our way back home in the train when suddenly most of us don't feel like going home so early. And suddenly we remembered it was a Wednesday.... and it means it is mambo night!!

Ok.. you guess it right. We ended up in Zouk. The crowd was really good. Lots of babes. And I mean really lots and lots. And I mean really babes and babes.
Haha.. ok I know I sound desperate. That's not true. Just some eye candy k.
We went to the wine bar to drink 2 jars of long island, just to get ourselves a bit high.

The people at the table beside us were leaving and they gave us 3 bottles of beer. FOC. How lucky can you get!
We played games and finish them all. It was time to party.
The music was good. Those normal mambo songs. The crowd was even better as I have mentioned. However, we guys don't really have the time to go hunting. Like I said, we are not DESPERATE. We were just having fun. So stop giving me that kind of look.
But then.. I wished we could have stayed a little while longer..
Haha.. I am still tired. Going to get some sleep.
Byez...

Click?
Can't help blogging after watching the movie Click. I thought it is going to ba a lame show but somehow it was better than expected. Those with me(ch, 3c, hy, jm, jx) would share the same sentiment. The idea was simple but direct and it will definitely strike a chord in most people's heart. Guys, you should really go and see it.
One more thing, for those with safra card, $8 for weekends' tickets. Check this out http://www.gv.com.sg/Booking/details_safra.htm
What are you waiting for?
Remember, you only have one life. Don't waste it. Live it to the fullest!
Click...
Sorry.. lights off..

Speak good English k..
There is this speak good English campaign lately in Singapore. Hmm this reminds me of Dawn nagging at me.. anyway if you are free, visit this link http://www.stomp.com.sg/stompcast/, look for the stomp casts under "Speak Good English Movement 2006 Launch". They are quite funny seriously, and you can really see for yourself how typical singaporeans speak using singlish.
How should I say? I am really not against speaking singlish. In fact, I think sometimes speaking in singlish makes your idea clearer and easier. Of course you must know who you are speaking to. Daily conversation with friends is all right I feel. Not to someone who is your superior or while you are working in general. Actually, singlish really makes us unique. It is like our native language to us. Never mind the fact that we modified some of the words and used most of the English language to create it. Singapore is well known for copying ideas anyway. Singlish is a mixture of most languages you can find in singapore. It is really a master piece...
Singlish. Truly Singapore.
Be proud of it...
For a start, I am going to use standard English in my sms from now on. Challenging...
I try lo..

Bliss.. a long wait huh?
As long as you are happy, I think it is worth waiting..
Glad that though I have not been able to bring happiness to you, it still finds its way to you..
Envy? Jealous?
A bit of both.. more importantly, I am happy for you..
Bliss is actually around all of us all the time..
Just reach out for it and you will feel it..
