Term Break

This week is the school term break. Even so, I find myself going to the school almost everyday.

My 2001 group has decided to build the structure of our smart home during the term break. We spent 2 full days buying the materials and working in the workshop and weimin's aunt's house. And the house is almost complete.

I think it was quite well done, considering the fact that we used wood as the main material. I am the designer of the house. Quite proud of it actually.

Me, Yh, td and some other friends went to double O yesterday night. Just to relax after a busy half term.

Today is the IFG badminton final between Engin and Business. I went down to give them my support. Actually, I don't even know who I am supporting for.

I am from Engin but yet most of the friends I know playing badminton are from Business. It was a close fight. Business won 3-2. It was expected though. Td played the decider and won of course. Anyway, congrats to all of them.

Tml I have another project discussion. Tue is the presentation. This is actually my maiden formal presentation in NUS. Looking forward to it. Hope everything will turn out well.

Tired, played badminton today. Haiz. Sibei rusty sia.. haha I missed the training days in army. I missed the bridge games we played at night after training. I missed kewei telling his stories about his gfs to us. I missed the night offs we had. I missed alex's jokes. I missed wenyao's cursing and swearing. I missed army.. haha no la kidding..

Smallville

Today's episode of smallville is quite touching.

There is this line in it which I liked.. "When you need someone to lean on, you know I will always be there for you." It was said by Lex Luther to Lana. I think he said it with so much sincerity that I can sense Lana was moved.

There are quite a few babes in the show. Other than Lana (Kristin Kreuk), I liked Chloe (Allison Mack) too.

Ok I know this kind of show might not appeal to some of you. But it is good to watch some super human shows at times. This is quite a good one.

All right.. just went to celebrate Anna's bdae with ch, trixie and haiyin. Our usual gang..

The dinner was not bad.. Forgot to take some pictures..

We went to play mahjong at trixie's house after that. I was the only one who won, so I decided to pay for the cab fares which is only a few dollars..

Have been busy with my smart home project lately. That's why I seldom blog nowadays. Just finished my individual presentation today.. haha so decided to take a breather..

Hmmm.. i just feel so old suddenly.. haiz.. time flies...

I am really busy these few days. Rushing my lab presentation this coming thurs.

Let me just add a short entry here... hmmm what should I talk about?

Ok.. I wonder if you entercounter this situation before. Usually I brush my teeth around 12 midnight and whenever I go to the kitchen, there is always a certain probability of me finding a cockroach somewhere around. I am not afraid of it, but seriously sometimes when they just pop up from no where, you will get a shock too. Anyway, back to the story, I often encounter one cockroach in a week or two. And usually, I will kill them. Use a plastic bag and crush them. Ok.. it sounds gross.. but i just can't stand them watching me behind my back!!! Sometime I will just let them go if they never disturb me. That day this freaking big flying cockroach landed on my thigh! Can you believe it? Argh.. Need me to explain its final ending?

Argh.. it is one am.. and I need to go brush my teeth again.. no surprises i hope..

Msia

I wonder if I would have gone over to msia so many times if not for the fact that td's gf soen is from msia. I must admit our JC click + aj badminton click have lots of fond memories over at soen's house. The dinners at Da Ma, the annual lantern festival celebration at her house, the trips to Genting and Malacca etc.. Time flies.. It has been so many years already..

Today went over again with td and andy. This is the second time the 3 of us went over to eat and shop. We were complaining about : "where are all the babes?" Ok.. it is us can.. just not too charming to attract any gals to go with us..

Should have upload some pictures so that this is not too boring. But I forgot to take any pictures. Nice ones especially. No chio bus, so going to disappoint u guys again. As for gals, just think of me and you will feel better.

Went to gym this afternoon and found it closed.. How unlucky..

Hmm there is this new bakery point at Khaitb mrt station. Wonder if anyone has tried the bread and bubble tea there. Went to try it today since the gym was closed. Was not too bad by my standard.

Td's bdae

Sep 1 is teacher's day. I am a tutor. Does that mean I should enjoy the day as well?
Anyway, it is tong dee's bdae as well. I am the main organiser for my bro's bdae so I am showing the pics of his big day here.

Let us look at his present first. A long sleeve shirt from fcuk. Picked by me and Andy. Quite ex ok.

A look now at the people present for the dinner at Kenny Rogers, marina sq. They are me, yin hong, julius, mik (andy's friend), andy, td, yiwen, siew choo, weili, hanjie, teng cheok and....

....Jun lyn. Manage to spot the difference? She was late la..

I enjoyed the dinner a lot. We talked and catch up with one another, and especially those I have not seen for a long time. The food was so so but the service was quite good, especially the cute waitress who helped us took the photo. And also thank them for letting us have the cake inside the restaurant.

And here we have the cake chosen by soen, but ordered and delivered by me!!! Soen u really owe me a big one lo.
